What We Do:

We solicit sponsors, ask for donations, and have fundraisers to build the capital needed to provide the labor, materials, and industry education to build a therapy pool and landscaping to a family in need or that otherwise could not afford a pool. Backyard Haven builds for those who serve our country (active or retired), who serve our community (police, fire, rescue), and children with cerbal palsy, spina bifida, and autism.

How You Can Help:

Spread The Word - The more people who are aware of this project, the more we can help families in need. Word of mouth, email, Facebook, places of worship, etc.

Donate - Without the your donations this project is not possible. Every dollar counts!

Volunteer - You are what makes this project a success! Volunteer here.

Benefits of Aquatic Therapy:

Exercising in the water provides many benefits that exercising on land can not. Boyancy of the water provides an unloading of the weight bearing joints of the spine, knee, and hips. This is helpful for those who can not tolerate exercising on land due to joint pain. Water also provides assistance and resistance while exercising so that one can progress through various levels of activity while increasing strength.

Backyard Bash 2013

The Backyard Bash is one of our main fundraisers. We would love for you to join us to eat, drink and be merry raising money to help fund this project. Hope to see you there! Click here for more info
